The eyes, the eyes, they won’t stop staring. I run down the hallway as swiftly as I can, my locket bouncing on my chest as I move. Their cold merciless eyes stare at me as I go by, soon they will be free. I have to get away. The walls start to rumble; oh God, it’s starting. Screaming, I start to run faster. I head through the double doors of the school along with the rest of the early morning swarm of kids. The hallways are packed and stuffy just like the train car but here there’s more shouting. I clambered into the third train car, careful not to trip over the gap between the train car and the platform. All the seats are taken by either elderly or early work goers glancing at their watches every other second.
